Terms and Conditions
In these terms and conditions the following words shall (except where the context otherwise admits) bear the following:-
“Heritage Watch”
means Heritage Watch, a Non-governmental organization recognized by the Minisityr of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia and/or any other persons operating duly authorised to use the name.
"Heritage Friendly Business"
means a business that has applied for Heritage Friendly Certification and been accepted by Heritage Watch as having met the criteria set out for membership.
"Heritage Friendly Business Association"
means the association of businesses deemed to have met the criteria set out by Heritage Watch with regard to the Heritage Friendly Tourism campaign.
“Member”
means any Members of the Heritage Friendly Business Association or any person or persons intending to or who have applied for membership of the Heritage Friendly Business Association upon the terms and conditions contained herein.
"TouchStone"
means the publication produced by Heritage Watch.
All applications for membership of the Heritage Friendly Business Association shall be made in writing using a Heritage Watch Application Form and signed by the proposed Member. Where a member has joined via the internet he/she is deemed to have signed the application form. On completion of an Application Form each new Member will be issued with a notification of membership. Members receiving a notification shall be bound during the continuance of Membership by these Terms and Conditions and by any other By-laws or Regulations for the time being published by Heritage Watch.
Heritage Watch reserves the right at all times to expel Members or to prevent for any reason any Member from participating in any Heritage Watch Event or from renewing Membership.
Heritage Watch reserves the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of members in the Heritage Friendly Business Association.
Heritage Watch shall not in any way be liable for any malfeasance perpetrated by a Member of the Heritage Friendly Business Association.
Members of the Heritage Friendly Business Association will display the Heritage Friendly Tourism logo prominently on the front door of their business and prominently on their web site if they have one.
Certification is valid for a period of one year from the date of acceptance and businesses must resubmit an application for the followng year.
If a business is for any reason expelled or fails to meet the criteria it must not claim to be a member of the Heritage Friendly Campaign and must cease to display any logos or promotional material that links said business to the campaign.
Membership in the Heritage Friendly Business Association is not transferable.
Heritage Watch shall make all effort to provide advertising space associated with membership in good time but shall not be bound to provide this free advertising within any predetermined period of time and it shall be realized that the advertising is contingent on the member taking out a one-year advertising contract with TouchStone magazine.
Feature articles for Gold Status businesses shall appear at the discretion of Heritage Watch in TouchStone magazine and in the Heritage Watch electronic newsletter where time and space allow and logos on the web site shall be governed in a similar manner. Heritage Watch retains all editorial control over these articles and retains the right to alter their content.
Logos for display on the Heritage Watch web site shall meet the standards of Heritage Watch and Heritage Watch reserves the right to reject any promotional material deemed inadequate in terms of quality or design.
Heritage Watch shall have power
(l) To alter these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to existing Members notwithstanding that existing Members will be provided with copies of any such alterations within days of the date of the same.
2) To make Bye-laws or minor Regulations for regulating the conduct and affairs of Member, All such By-laws and/or minor Regulations will be published by Heritage Watch in communications to members and the terms thereof shall be final and binding upon all Members.
