Events Program for the Heritage Friendly Tourism Campaign 2007-2008

The Heritage Insight Lecture Program

The Heritage Insight program aims to provide cultural seminars and speaker tours to tourists visiting Angkor. It allows people to gain a better insight into Cambodia through the talks given by experts in the fields of culture, heritage, archaeology, recent history, Angkorian history, and Pre-Historic Angkor. The program provides a forum for the academic community to share what they know. By making this knowledge more open and accessible to the general public we hope to facilitate a deeper understanding and appreciation of the issues facing Cambodia. Over 30 top academics and noted experts have offered their time and resources to the program. For information please contact us.

The Angkor Photography Festival - Siem Reap

The Angkor Photography Festival brings together people of diverse nationalities and cultures in the spirit of creativity and exchange. It is not just about print exhibitions and outdoor projections by renowned artists and photo-journalists. By offering free workshops for young Asian photographers and developing outreach projects for disenfranchised Cambodian youth, participants contribute their art and their time, demonstrating that photography can change lives.
